We’re so proud of our friend, Cat!
Ms. Ambrose has been in the nursing profession for 15 years, starting as a Licensed
Practical Nurse in 2011 and becoming a Registered Nurse in 2016. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Shenandoah University and a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Walden University. She brings with her a variety of direct care experiences in family medicine, internal medicine, infectious disease, oncology, medical/surgical, and critical care stepdown. This has allowed her to care for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings with acute and chronic health conditions in all ages across the lifespan.
In addition to her time at the bedside, she is preparing to enter her eighth year of
teaching in the nursing field. She previously taught in the Undergraduate Nursing program at Shenandoah University and, most recently, in the Associate Degree Nursing program at Laurel Ridge Community College. She cares deeply about providing excellent education to her students and, ultimately, ensuring the highest quality of care possible to patients.
When she is not working, Catherine loves spending time with her family, being involved in church and the community, and baking yummy treats. She is excited for this next chapter in her life and nursing career and is grateful for this opportunity to guide students in the Nurse Aide program at Triplett Tech as they begin their journey in the world of nursing. We are so excited to welcome Ms. Ambrose to Triplett Tech!
