STAR - Stoughton Aqua Racers Swim Team We are a year-round competitive swim team with high quality, professional coaching and instruction.

Our team is a year-round competitive swim team offering high quality, professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to international competitor. All of our coaches are members of the United States Swimming. Some are

members of American Swimming Coaches Association, which provides access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. They provide assurances that the time children spend in swimming will be quality time. We are a non-profit club, run by its elected Administrative Board which meets each month. All members are welcome at each meeting and are encouraged to get involved in the team's many areas of volunteerism that help in the complete functioning of the club.

We are hosting a night out with Forward Madison, STAR style, on August 1! Game is at 7:00 pm at Breese Stevens Field! Bring family, friends, neighbors that love watching soccer. Tickets are $20 each (or $29 if you also want a hat). $5 of every ticket sold kicks back to STAR.
We know how many STAR kids also play soccer. Enjoy a great family night out and let the swim and soccer worlds collide!

Please join us in welcoming Coach Austin Ayers back to STAR!

Coach Austin is originally from Bryan, Texas, where he grew up swimming. He swam one season in college at Oklahoma Baptist University under sprint coach Sam Freas, and he has now been coaching for 10 years.

His coaching journey includes experience with the Bryan Barracudas, Aggie Swim Club, Schroeder, STAR, and Stoughton High School. During his time coaching high school, he had the privilege of helping coach 3 high school state champions.

We are so excited to have Coach Austin back at STAR and can’t wait for our swimmers to benefit from his experience, energy, and passion for the sport. Welcome back, Coach Austin! 🏊‍♂️🔥

Your swimmer will have a quick evaluation with our head coach, you will learn about STAR registration and leave with all questions answered.
