Stoneham Youth Football and Cheer Youth Football and Cheer for Stoneham children in 1st - 8th grade. In 2009, Stoneham Youth Football and Cheer, Inc.

(SYFC) was re-incorporated and re-chartered as an associate member of the Northeast Conference Youth Football League (NECYFL). The NECYFL is affiliated with American Youth Football, which is a "Grade Based, Age Protected" youth football league. We are proud to be able to offer every child in our community an equal opportunity to play youth football and cheer.

Hello SYFC Families & Community,

As we begin preparing for the 2026 Youth Cheer season, we’re excited to share that planning is already well underway! Our goal is to make the start of the season as seamless, organized, and positive as possible for our cheerleaders—and that starts with building a strong, supportive team behind them. To do that, we are looking to grow our volunteer team and are welcoming anyone interested in helping our program thrive.

We are currently seeking volunteers for all positions, including:
• Head & Assistant Cheer Coaches (18+ required)
• Junior Coaches (high school students encouraged to apply)
• Practice, event, and game-day support
• General program assistance

No matter your level of cheer experience—whether you’re a former athlete, a parent, a student, or someone who simply enjoys giving back to youth programs—there is a role for you. Every volunteer plays an important part in helping our athletes grow, gain confidence, and succeed.

*** In the coming weeks, we will be releasing details for our Spring Cheer Clinics, where future coaches and volunteers will have the opportunity to join, learn, and work alongside our incoming cheerleaders and become familiar with our program ahead of the season.
