Completed strength training today at the Rocky Mountain School track, focusing on an Air-Pac workout. We covered 4-5 laps. Since we can't control the weather and the heat of the fire, we need to be ready for anything, both physically and mentally. As we progress, we'll incorporate more gear and increase the distance. Excellent effort, everyone! 🔥💪🏽🧑🏽‍🚒

We will be tomorrow! Rocky Mountain Community Building.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning- Adair County.

Here is what Possible time frame of the Severe Thunderstorm.

Midnight– 2 AM

* Storm complex may begin approaching from northern or western Oklahoma.
* Increasing cloud cover.
* A few isolated showers or storms could develop ahead of the main line.
* Severe threat begins increasing.

2 AM – 5 AM (Highest Concern)

This is the window I would be most concerned about.

Potential hazards include:

* Damaging straight-line winds of 60–75 mph.
* Quarter-size hail or larger.
* Frequent lightning.
* Torrential rainfall reducing visibility.
* Localized flooding in low-lying areas.

The tornado threat appears lower than the wind threat, but an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out if a stronger storm segment develops overnight.

5 AM – 6 AM

* Storms may be moving through or exiting the county.
* Heavy rain and gusty winds remain possible.
* Temperatures fall into the upper 60s to around 70°F.

Confidence Assessment

Hazard Confidence
Lightning High
Heavy Rain Moderate to High
Damaging Winds Moderate to High
Large Hail Moderate
Flooding Moderate
Tornadoes Low to Moderate

* Ensure NOAA Weather Radio and Wireless Emergency Alerts are enabled before going to bed.

Make sure all devices are charged.
