We met with a new partner, The Central Willamette Times, a couple weeks ago to introduce SI and learn more about what the local paper was about. The Central Willamette Times includes coverage of two of our catchment areas, Scio and Jefferson. The Times will be able to cover various resources and opportunities to our community that they may not have heard about because they do not have social media. This will be an excellent way to reach them, just as we have The Canyon Weekly and Our Town in our other catchment areas. Mikayle, it was a pleasure to met you, and I hope to see you at a future SI Team Mtg. The Times is looking for local contributors to the paper from Scio and Jefferson. It is that time of year again when the Medicare Rodeo comes to town! Save the date for October 20th from 10am to 2pm.

Attention Santiam Service Integration Team Members!!!

It is time for back to school, which for you means, it is time for our service integration meetings to resume. All five teams will begin the year with their first team meetings. If you are not receiving emails for your team area, please email Kim at [email protected] to ensure you are added.

If you have any questions at all about the team meetings, locations of the meetings, please let us know. You will notice that we have added a new SIT Orientation on the calendar. This will a virtual orientation for team members to get a quick overview of the program and deep dive into other aspects of the program such as funding requests.

We are excited to start our 10th year with you all and hope to see you soon!!!

Our friends over at Wilco Farm Store in Stayton gave us a call recently and donated a couple air conditioning units to the service integration program.

We often get calls from our partners or the community directly needing assistance with air conditioning. Sometimes its a senior who doesn't have funds to repair a broken unit, or maybe its a single parent in an apartment without a unit, one of the donated AC units can be a real life saver.

Thank you Wilco for thinking of us and allowing us to serve our community together!
