Showing up for the community, with the community. 💙

Tonight, I had the opportunity to work with the Iredell County Sheriff's Explorer Program at the fair, helping run the booth and connect with families and community members. Events like these remind us that law enforcement is about building relationships, earning trust, and being present where it matters most.

I spent the last three days at The Buckeye Classic taking on my very first USAT tournament.🎯🏹 USA Archery

The weather threw everything at us. Rain, wind, even fire smoke but I kept shooting! ⚡️🌩️⛈️🔥💨🌬️

Over 200 arrows later between practice and competition, I walked away as the youngest competitor in my group, not on top of the leaderboard, but on top of my own fear. I proved to myself that I belong here and I’m only getting started. 🎯🏹💪🏻

I had the honor of being coached by Joella Bates, a 13‑time world archery champion and absolute legend. Her guidance today is fueling me as I prepare for my first USAT tournament in Dublin, Ohio this month at The Buckeye Classic

Today I am spotlighting a resource every Veteran, service member, and family should know about.

The Veterans Crisis Line offers 24/7, free, confidential support for Veterans and their loved ones — no enrollment in VA benefits required.

Whether someone is feeling overwhelmed, showing signs of crisis, or just needs someone to listen, they can connect with a qualified responder who understands the unique experiences of Veterans. Support doesn’t end with the conversation — responders can also help connect Veterans with local VA and community resources.

Ways to Reach the Veterans Crisis Line:

• Dial 988, then Press 1 for immediate support
• Chat online at VeteransCrisisLine.net/Chat
• Text 838255 to start a confidential conversation anytime.

June 1st marks the start of PTSD Awareness Month, and we’re stepping into it with intention. All month long, Arrows for Armed Forces will be sharing stories, truths, resources, and reminders that our veterans deserve to be seen, heard, and supported — not just today, but every day. Their courage doesn’t end when the uniform comes off.
Their healing shouldn’t be carried alone. We stand with them. We shoot for them. We honor the them.

The Arrows for Armed Forces 3‑D Tournament gave us everything—laughter between targets, concentration faces we didn’t know we made, the kind of camaraderie you can’t manufacture and those little in‑between moments that tell the real story.

No staging. No posing.
Just real people, real support, and real heart behind a cause that matters.

✨ A moment worth celebrating. ✨

Today I had the honor of presenting Brigette Parsons, Director of Saving Grace K9's with a $500 check raised at our Arrows for Armed Forces 3D Archery Fundraiser Tournament. 🇺🇸🐾

Every dollar came from people who believe in the mission of training dogs for veterans battling PTSD — a mission that truly saves lives and restores hope.

To every archer, volunteer, sponsor, and supporter who showed up, shot with purpose, and gave with heart: thank you. Your generosity is already at work.

Naturally, Chunk and Junior conducted their official inspection of the check. Quality control is important when you’re dealing with two very good boys who take their job extremely seriously. 🐶🐶🫶🏻
