We were honored to participate in today’s Disaster Recovery & Community Resources Open House, supporting residents affected by Hurricane Helene and Tropical Storm Debby.

The event provided an opportunity for community members with unmet recovery needs to connect with local organizations offering valuable social service resources and support.

A special thank you to Bulloch VOAD / Bulloch Strong for organizing this important event and to Pittman Park for graciously hosting. Together, we continue working to help our neighbors recover, rebuild, and move forward.

🌟 Honor a Woman Spotlight: Our Founding Members 🌟

Today, we are proud to recognize four extraordinary women, Brandi Veal Gaines, Lauren Whitfield, Rachel Barnwell, Stephanie Arends Neal, who helped establish Women United in Bulloch County and have been instrumental in turning a vision into action for the children and families of our community.

As founding members and dedicated United Way of Southeast Georgia Board members, their leadership, compassion, and unwavering commitment have helped create opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive. Through countless hours of service, advocacy, and hard work, they continue to make a lasting impact on the lives of those who need it most.

Their dedication reminds us that meaningful change happens when passionate people come together to invest in the future of our community.

This week was all about collaboration, connection, and community impact. 💙

We had the opportunity to bring together our 2026–2027 funded partner agencies, the incredible organizations receiving grant funding through United Way of Southeast Georgia, for a Partner Agency meeting focused on strengthening how we work together to serve Bulloch County.

From sharing ideas and resources to discussing community needs and opportunities for collaboration, the room was filled with passionate people committed to building a stronger, healthier, and more connected community for all.
When nonprofits come together instead of working in silos, amazing things happen.

Thank you to each of our partner agencies for the work you do every single day and for your commitment to creating lasting impact across Bulloch County. The future is brighter when we work together. ✨
