North Dakota 4-H Ag Ambassador applications are open for the 2026-2027 year!

Encourage youth ages 16–19 in your club, classroom, community or family to apply. This program is a fantastic way to engage with agriculture and strengthen resumes!

Ag ambassadors will:
- Meet weekly with agriculture professionals and experts to explore the incredible variety of careers available in agriculture.
- Learn about agriculture beyond the farm and discover career opportunities they may not have considered.
- Develop and present an interactive presentation about an agriculture career of their choice.
- Share their presentation at their county fair or achievement day.
- Create a recorded version to share through YouTube and the North Dakota 4-H website.
- Work as a team to develop and submit a Lead2Change project to National 4-H focused on improving North Dakota or improving North Dakota through agriculture.

Save the date!! Mountrail County 4-H Awards Day is taking place this year on November 8th!

Come out and cheer on your fellow 4-H'ers for their accomplishments throughout the 2025-2026 4-H year! All families, friends, and anyone interested in the 4-H program is welcome!

In the meantime....don't forget to make your submission for the Friend of 4-H and turn in your youth Award Forms!!

Mountrail County 4-H offers up to 50% of one camp per 4-H year! Don't miss out on the adventures!

Come explore camp and get creative! The 4-H Fall Camping Weekend is September 25-27.

Paint and build your own porch scarecrow, make a pumpkin turkey, and bring your camera to try out outdoor photography. End the day with a cozy fall bonfire — plus s’mores, games, and lots of fun with friends!
