📢 Important Update: Financial Assistance Process

Our new financial assistance process is now in effect as of October 1.

Please note this important eligibility requirement:

To be considered for financial assistance, the individual applying must have been an active client of Rosenberg-Richmond Helping Hands and have received our food and/or clothing services for six consecutive months prior to applying.

This means financial assistance is not available to new clients who have not yet received services from Helping Hands for six consecutive months.

Additionally, walk-ins for financial assistance are no longer accepted. Clients who meet the six-month eligibility requirement must follow the new application process.

We encourage you to share this information with anyone who may need assistance in the future so they can understand the requirements and be prepared.

Fresh food can give families one less thing to worry about and create another point of connection to the community around them.

Through Brighter Bites, we served 143 individuals across five distribution days, with 100 bags of fresh produce shared each week at Northside. We are especially grateful for Lindale Community, Ecclesia Staff, Nazareth Church, and Insperity for showing up and helping make every distribution possible.

This is what meeting basic needs can look like when it is rooted in relationship and long-term support.
