A few of my favorite images from Friday’s (and Saturday’s) ride around Raleigh for the Paul McEnroe Scholarship. The ride actually got easier as I went, just showing that our mind is what holds us back the most. It was incredible to connect with my classmates on a common purpose. As I wrote in another post, I was never alone. What an amazing group of people, whom I sadly only see every 10-15 years.

Back when I worked in the bike industry, I was lucky to have access to plenty of new bike tech. Now that I’m just a regular ‘ol consumer, my usage of new technology is far less frequent. Not an early adopter nor a laggard, more an opportunist. So when I needed a new bike pump, a bit of research led to me to battery power.

Kudos to Prestacycle, LLC. !!! This thing is fantastic! Light and small enough for a jersey pocket, super fast, precise. Yes it’s one more thing to charge, but that happens fast too.

I almost hope my other pump dies so I have an excuse to upgrade it also 😉
