Today, IMSAP was at the St. Clair County Regional Office of Education for “Leading Positive School Cultures: Prioritizing Self-Care, Wellness, and Compassion Resilience.”

The training focused on the importance of creating positive, supportive school environments while also remembering to care for the people who make those environments possible — our educators.

Supporting staff wellness, building resilience, and encouraging compassion are all important pieces of creating a strong school culture where both educators and students can thrive.

We had a great afternoon at Newton Elementary with our Outwitting Squirrels professional development training! It was wonderful to spend the afternoon with educators who were ready to learn, laugh, and take away practical ideas they can use with their students.

IMSAP was at Newton High School this morning for teacher training, Bridging the Gap. It was a great AM session focused on practical strategies, confidence, and tools educators can take right back into the classroom.

IMSAP had a great day of paraprofessional training in Marissa, Illinois, on Thursday. We had an excellent turnout for both the morning and afternoon sessions.

Savannah and Mary led the morning training, while Tabitha and Lisa presented the afternoon session. Both groups were engaged and ready to learn, making for a very successful day of professional development.

A great weekend supporting our local Masonic Lodges!

Saturday: I stopped by the Doric Lodge Open House and enjoyed visiting with members and showing my support.

Sunday: I started the morning at the Silvis Lodge breakfast, visiting with members and supporting their Lodge.

It’s always great to get out, visit with our Masonic family, and share a little about IMSAP along the way. I’m always available if a Lodge has questions or would like to learn more about what IMSAP is doing across Illinois. 📖

Another great afternoon of learning with IMSAP! ❤️

Today, the Illinois Masonic Student Assistance Program had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with the staff at All Saints Academy in Breese for Google AI & Tips and Tricks.

Technology continues to change the way we work, teach, and connect with students, and today’s session gave educators practical tools, helpful shortcuts, and new ways to put AI to work in their classrooms.
