Another great afternoon of learning with IMSAP! ❤️

Today, the Illinois Masonic Student Assistance Program had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with the staff at All Saints Academy in Breese for Google AI & Tips and Tricks.

Technology continues to change the way we work, teach, and connect with students, and today’s session gave educators practical tools, helpful shortcuts, and new ways to put AI to work in their classrooms.

A big thank you to All Saints Academy for welcoming IMSAP and spending the afternoon learning with us!

The 2026 Illinois Masonic Student Assistance Program (IMSAP) Commemorative Coin is officially available for pre-order.

Featuring the IMSAP emblem on one side and the program's guiding words on the other, "Knowledge builds bridges. Compassion creates change. Together, we transform lives.”, this coin is more than a keepsake. It's a symbol of what IMSAP stands for: inspiring minds and supporting all students across Illinois.

Coins are $20 each and will be ready for pickup in October at the Annual Grand Lodge Communication. Every pre-order directly supports IMSAP's mission.

A Great Afternoon at Canton High School! 📚

We had a busy afternoon at Canton High School with two IMSAP professional development trainings!

🧠 Stressed Brains gave educators a closer look at how stress can impact learning and behavior, along with strategies to better support their students.

🧭 Navigating New Routes provided another opportunity to explore new ideas, approaches, and tools to bring back to the classroom.

Thank you to everyone at Canton High School who spent part of their afternoon learning and growing with IMSAP. We appreciate the opportunity to support educators and the important work they do every day!

Two Trainings in Raymond Today! 📚

It was a busy and exciting day for IMSAP with two trainings in Raymond!

🤖 This morning, educators participated in an AI training, exploring how artificial intelligence can be used as another tool to support teaching and learning.

🌱 This afternoon, we switched gears with Grow, Explore, Discover, giving participants new ideas and strategies they can take right back to their classrooms.

Two different topics, one great group of educators committed to learning, growing, and bringing new ideas to their students!

🧠📚 Stressed Brains Can’t Learn: The Effects of Trauma & How Schools Can Help Students Heal

I spent the afternoon in Taylorville with educators for another great IMSAP professional development opportunity!

Today’s training focused on how trauma and chronic stress can impact a student’s ability to learn, connect, and succeed in the classroom—and, most importantly, how schools can help students heal.

By better understanding what may be behind a student’s behavior, educators can use strategies that build connection, resilience, and a supportive learning environment. 📚
