‼️ Banned Book Club has been moved to the second Sunday of September to avoid the Labor Day Weekend holiday.

📖 For September, we will be discussing "The Satanic Verses" by Salman Rushdie. It was published in 1988 and was viewed as blasphemy, leading to a fatwa against Rushdie by the Supreme Leader of Iran, resulting in several assassination attempts.
