TODAY (10/18) The GLO Center and Village Meeple Board Game Cafe are partnering for an afternoon of spooky gaming from 11 am to 1 pm at Village Meeple (1570 E. Battlefield Suite F.).

Entry is free by telling the front desk person the secret password: "Beetlejuice, beetlejuice, beetle..."!

This all-ages event is open to LGBTQIA+ individuals and their allies. Come join us for an afternoon of building community through games!

Join us for our annual Trunk or Treat at The GLO Center's parking lot from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm on Saturday, October 24th 2026! Local nonprofits and organizations will be providing candy/free items to give away. If you are a local nonprofit or organization and interested in participating, email [email protected]. Event is open to all youth and their families and free to attend!

Right before the event, Rainbow Families will have Drag Story Hour at 4 pm. RSVP is encouraged! RSVP by emailing [email protected]. Rainbow Families is our group for LGBTQIA+ families with kids 11 and under.

Costumes and candy buckets are encouraged!

GLO members are invited to join us for our Annual Membership Meeting on Monday, October 26 from 5:30–8:00 PM.

This annual gathering is an opportunity for GLO members to come together, hear updates from the organization, and stay connected to the work happening across our community.

This meeting is open to current GLO members only. Members should check their email for the RSVP link and additional details. The meeting will be held in Springfield, Missouri, and the exact location will be shared with members after they RSVP.

Bound (1996) is a neo-noir crime thriller directed by the Wachowskis. Join us on Sunday, November 1, from 12 - 1:30 PM for Banned Book Club!

📖 For November, we will be discussing "The Exorcist" by William Peter Blatty. This book follows a young girl whose increasingly terrifying behavior leads her mother to suspect demonic possession. As doctors fail to explain what’s happening, two priests are called in, turning the story into a dark exploration of faith, doubt, evil, and sacrifice.
