Excited to announce the return of the Illinois Legislators vs the Lincolnway Special Recreation Association Hawks wheelchair basketball game.

The goal is to promote the recreational services LWSRA provides for individuals with disabilities through a cooperative agreement with 8 member Park Districts: Crete, Frankfort, Frankfort Square, Manhattan, Mokena, New Lenox, Peotone, and Wilmington.

I'm posting the Cook & Will County survey's again because completing a storm damage assessment is a critical step to determine if our region qualifies for disaster assistance.

The survey is not an application for aid. Filling out a survey compiles regional data to prove the storm was a "qualifying event".

The survey does not automatically guarantee individual financial assistance or disaster relief.
It does not replace insurance.
You must still report all property damage directly to your insurance provider.

On Sunday, August 9th, State Rep Anthony DeLuca joined the annual procession at Amaseno Lodge No. 3 in Chicago Heights for the Festa di San Lorenzo.

Later that day he attended the 70th Anniversary Celebration at the Chicago Heights Ford Stamping Plant, met with the plant leadership and thanked workers.
