Sunday, September 6th: New Jersey American Labor Museum for a parade and street fair.

Monday, September 7th: Philadelphia Sheet Metal Local 19 Hall for a parade and family fair.

NJ members: The deadline to qualify for our STAR awards is Monday, August 31st!

In order to qualify, you must be a member of a NJ local in good standing, work 500 safe hours, and take an 8-hour class. Be sure to take all the required classes before August 31st so you can qualify!

Stronger together.

We're proud to announce that we just signed a historic agreement with LiUNA to coordinate strategy, strengthen organizing, and build worker power together!

The construction industry has adopted a model to exploit workers and divide unions, and we know the old playbook isn't working, so we're building a new one — this is what 21st century solidarity looks like.

Our focus is on building worker power and bringing new members into the labor movement. Together, the IUPAT and LiUNA are setting the course for what we should all focus on: building a fighting movement of workers.

Important Notice for anyone wishing to register for DC 21's Stewardship Training coming up this fall: a prerequisite for registering for the training will be to have taken one of our Building Union Power classes. If you haven't already taken the class, we have another round of the BUP classes coming up this summer in Philadelphia and Springfield. Philly class will be next week on Wed., July 29th. The Springfield class will be on Wed., August 19th. More details on the flyer. Hope to see you there!
