Homeless Prevention Partners Our mission is to raise awareness of the homeless situation in West Michigan.

In raising awareness we work to raise funds to help fight the homeless issues that are becoming more and more prevalent in our community. Formed in 2004 in conjunction with the Housing Coalition, our organization started as a fundraising soup event, Soup For All. In January 2020 we became a 501c3 so more events could be held throughout the year and provide funds to fight homelessness year round. I

n January 2022 we changed our name to Homeless Prevention Partners to truly represent what our mission is and what we’ve evolved into. We raise funds for area non-profit organizations and disperse them through a grant application process to directly help homeless students and families, provide utility and rent assistance for emergency situations, and fill food pantries.
