Our months-long project collecting, washing, and sorting plastic bottle caps has come to fruition! Spring Hill Parks and Recreation just installed the new bench made from our donations. Thanks to members of the club and community residents, our town now has a new solid plastic bench installed in Harvey Park for everyone to use and enjoy! What a great way to protect our Environment by keeping small plastic items out of a landfill or body of water!!! We appreciate everyone who participated on this endeavor!!

Last night, our club donated $1000.00 from the proceeds of our recent Fairytale Tea Fundraiser to "Sleep in Heavenly Peace". SHP is a nonprofit that builds and donates sturdy wooden beds, along with bedding, to children who don't have a bed of their own. These kids are often sleeping on the floor, on a sofa, or in a bed with multiple other people. SHP Columbia has built and given over 300 beds in Maury County, and continues to get requests for additional donations.

As another school year comes to a close, the GFWC Spring Station Woman's Club would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the teachers, administrators, and staff of all the Spring Hill and Thompson’s Station Schools for the love, dedication, and encouragement you pour into the lives of the students each and every day!

Thank you for your commitment to education, your patience, your leadership, and the countless ways you make a difference in our community. Your hard work helps shape the future of our children and inspires the next generation to grow, learn, and succeed.
We hope each of you enjoy a well-deserved, relaxing summer filled with rest, joy, and time for loved ones.

May is Get Caught Reading Month!

This is such a great idea! Get Caught Reading is an annual celebration that promotes the joy and benefits of reading. It's a fun way to encourage children to develop a love for
reading and emphasizes the excitement and pleasure of being absorbed into a good book.
