The U.S. Census Bureau’s annual poverty report found that 15.4% of older Americans lived in poverty in 2025, up from 9.4% in 2020 after five consecutive years of increases, reaching the highest level in years.

These are grandparents, widows, veterans, and neighbors who never imagined they would need help putting food on the table

The Well Outreach sees the reality behind that statistic every day. More seniors are coming to The Well Outreach seeking help with one of life’s most basic needs: food.

In September 2026 alone, The Well Outreach provided groceries to a record 2,715 Seniors and families. We are grateful to be there for our neighbors in their time of need, but we can’t do it without you.

Together, we can ensure that no Senior or family is turned away hungry.

From setting up the pitmaster tasting area to building out our giant Kid's Zone, designing the Crafts Fair, hiring local music acts and working with community sponsors, our The Well Outreach team and volunteers are working hard behind the scenes at OakLawn Mansion! 🐷✨

Counting down to the 2026 John Maher Builders Whole Hog Festival benefiting The Well Outreach Food Pantry this Saturday, Oct 17! 🐷 Join us at OakLawn Mansion, 3331 Denning Lane; Spring Hill, Tn from 10am-5pm for a day of live music, crafts, a massive kid's zone, and delicious BBQ!!!

Best of all? Every ticket ($10, kids 5 & under free) directly supports The Well Outreach Food Pantry. In September alone, we served a record 2,715 seniors and families in our community—and your support makes it all possible! ❤️
