SFYAL Baseball & Softball SFYAL provides baseball and softball programs for the greater Spring-Ford area and charters through the Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth Organization.

Please visit our website for more information about programs for your child/children. SFYAL is a non-profit Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken baseball and softball program supporting the local youth in the greater Spring-Ford area.

Know how to keep a book and want to come to the complex and see some baseball? Our 9U travel team is hosting the Cal Ripken district tournament this week/weekend and each game needs an official scorekeeper. There are 2
Games at 6pm on Friday, 10am and 1pm on Saturday and then 10am and 1pm again on Sunday where we need supply someone to keep the official book and do the pitch counter. If you have time and are interested please email Beth at [email protected].

Our 12U SFYAL Travel team played their last home game at our complex today for our annual SummerSlam tournament. Aging out of our program is something that comes quick. You start in tball or 6U, knowing no one and thinking all the older families are crazy! Saying "I'd never spend everyday at the fields all summer long...." and before you know it you are eating walking tacos for breakfast and spending every hour with your team-that becomes your family.

The team finished pool play as the number 1 seed going into bracket play. They ended up dropping a heartbreaker in extra innings-10 to be exact. We couldn't be more proud of you all. Thank you for spending your childhood with SFYAL! Good luck to you all!

CHAMPIONS!!!

​Our SFYAL 8U Blue baseball team just captured the SFYAL Summer Slam Championship today, and we couldn’t be more proud of these boys and their coaches! They took home the title with an incredible 7-5 victory over Pennsbury Black 8U.

​Talk about a grueling, hard-fought weekend of baseball! These boys played five total games—two yesterday and three today - in the heat - and won them all. From clutch pitching and explosive hitting to lockdown fielding, they gave it 100% in every single inning. It was truly amazing to watch it all come together.

​As our youngest baseball team at SFYAL, they proved that age is just a number when you have this much heart and hustle. They are a very special group of players, and we cannot wait to see what they do in the future!
