But persistent or unusual bloating shouldn’t automatically be dismissed as something you ate.

Ovarian cancer can cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as bloating, gas or constipation.

Most bloating is NOT ovarian cancer.
But if something is persistent, unusual for you, or getting worse, it’s worth talking to your healthcare provider.

You know what is normal for YOUR body.
If it doesn’t feel normal, don’t be afraid to ask why.

September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month!

Over seven years ago, it introduced itself to my life and changed everything. I've been asked many times before, why do you keep talking about it? WHY NOT...... are you serious? I'm grateful I was Stage 1C but several teal sisters I've met are not and many have passed away.
