Healing Paws Rescue is a 501 C 3 non profit. We are a foster based rescue with fosters located in MN.

Healing Paws Rescue focuses on the future of dogs that have had rough starts to life, lost an owner due to an illness and need a new home, or even the ones where unforeseen circumstances have come up and the previous owner can no longer afford their care. We will take them in and find them the new life and home they all deserve. We will also travel to southern states to help dogs in need that could potentially be placed on the euthanasia list due to shelters or humane societies that have reached capacity as well as those that have been found as strays on the streets.

🐾 Meet Chip! 🐾

Chip is a 11 week old bundle of energy, love, and puppy kisses! He absolutely loves to play with the resident dog and has been wonderful with both of the little ones in our house.
He’s also a very good listener for such a young pup and is food-motivated, which makes him a great little guy to train! He’s already getting really good at going to the door when he needs to go potty. Chip is playful, smart, affectionate, and ready to find his forever family. He’s going to make an amazing companion! Meet Cookie(aka Oreo from her foster mom)! This sweet, energetic girl is full of fun and ready to find her forever home. Cookie is working hard on her leash manners and is making progress on basic commands like "sit" and "down."

Her favorite pastimes include sunbathing in the grass, crunching on sticks, and keeping up with the other dogs in her home—especially her 3-year-old playmate! When she’s ready to recharge, Cookie voluntarily heads to her dog bed or crate for a quiet nap. She is fully crate trained and sleeps peacefully through the entire night without a peep. Cookie would make a wonderful addition to a home with playful dog siblings!

If we could describe Callie in one word, it would be… jovial! Callie is a four-month-old Pug/Corgi mix. She has the sweetness of a saint, the energy of a bull, and the face of… well… a Pug.

Callie loves dogs of all sizes and humans who feed her snacks.Callie’s biggest flaw is that when she gets excited, she springs off your body like a rocket. She’s working on her manners but that takes time! She has met tiny humans and was incredibly patient when poked in the eye and having her face squished.

Callie would do best in a home with a large yard to get her zoomies out, alongside an active person or family who can provide plenty of exercise so she can take exactly one 3-to-6-minute nap during the day.If you are looking for a Callie in your life and think you have what it takes to be her person, go ahead and apply today!
