The Proprietary was formed by the initial Declarant (also known as Developer) of South Riding to provide specific services to the owners in the community

. In 2009 South Riding applied for and was granted 501C4 status with the IRS. All persons who purchase residential property in South Riding automatically become members of the Association and such membership is not severable unless and until the person sells their property. This membership entitles the property owner to all of the rights and privileges afforded by the Association's Articles of Incorporation, Declaration and Bylaws (Governing Documents). The Governing Documents also create certain obligations and responsibilities for the property owner, including but not limited to requirements to pay annual assessments and to abide by certain covenants and rules. With over 6,300 homes and 28,000 residents it is one of the finest large scale communities located in Loudoun County, Virginia.

🇺🇸 Star Spangled South Riding is right around the corner! Join us on Friday, June 26 as we come together to celebrate our nation’s 250th Anniversary.

The celebration kicks off with a patriotic parade starting at Town Hall at 5:30 PM and heading to the South Riding Golf Course. Participants will have the chance to walk alongside Abe Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and George Washington as the parade is led by a traditional Fife and Drum Quartet. 🇺🇸🥁

Be sure to stop by Town Hall to purchase your blinkies and light up the celebration! Town Hall is open Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. Blinkies will also be available during the event while supplies last.

We can’t wait to celebrate with the community! ✨
