This weekend, four of our Routt Catholic CEO students are competing on baseball’s biggest stage, the IHSA state tournament. Watching them reach this level is a reminder that the same qualities that lead to success on the field are the very qualities we work to develop in CEO every day.

Making it to state takes grit, commitment, resilience, teamwork, and the ability to perform under pressure. These student-athletes have spent countless hours preparing, overcoming obstacles, and pushing themselves to improve. In CEO, they bring that same determination as they learn to lead, communicate, solve problems, and take initiative.

We are incredibly proud of these four students for representing their school, team, and communities at the state tournament. Their success is proof that leadership and perseverance are not limited to the classroom or the baseball diamond. They are qualities that will serve them throughout their lives.

Good luck at state! Your CEO family is cheering you and the entire Routt Rocket team on every step of the way. ⚾️💜🚀

Another CEO year is coming to a close, and it’s hard to put into words how incredible it is to watch these students grow over the course of a year.

At the beginning of the year, many walk into class unsure of themselves, nervous to speak up, and uncertain about what they are capable of. By the end of the year, they are confidently networking, speaking in front of crowds, running businesses, solving problems, and carrying themselves in a completely different way.

The growth isn’t just in business knowledge, it’s in confidence, maturity, communication, leadership, and believing in themselves. Watching that transformation happen year after year is truly one of the most rewarding parts of the CEO program.

These students continually amaze me with their creativity, resilience, and willingness to step outside of their comfort zones. I could not be more proud of all they have accomplished this year and cannot wait to see where life takes each of them next.

Today the class had the opportunity to meet with Jacksonville Area Chamber of Commerce President, Lisa Musch. Lisa spoke to the students about the important role a Chamber of Commerce plays in supporting local businesses, building community connections, and encouraging economic growth.

She shared insight into networking, community involvement, leadership, and the value of building strong relationships in business. Students also learned how chambers help promote local events, advocate for businesses, and create opportunities for entrepreneurs and professionals alike.

Thank you, Lisa, for taking the time to speak with the class and for sharing your knowledge and experience!
