Dolly needs a new foster home in the Houston area 💖🐶

Rescued from BARC’s euthanasia list in June, Dolly was terrified and shaking. Since then, this sweet girl has gained confidence and is finding her voice. Now, she needs a foster to help her through the next chapter.

🏡 A home with no other dogs
💕 She is great with people
🩺 Fully vetted
📍 Houston area
🗓️ A commitment of a few weeks

We are reviewing adoption applications, but Dolly needs a place to stay until her adoption is finalized and she can travel to her forever home outside Texas.

Can you open your home to Dolly? Please message us if you can foster, and share this post to help us find her a safe place to land.

To his former owner:

I stayed with YOUR dog.
We had zoomies outside.
Shared some very special snacks.
Told him what a good boy he was.
And hugged him tight, so he wasn’t alone.

He didn’t deserve to be scared or alone, so we wanted to ensure he knew that he mattered to us.

Behavioral euthanasias are a tough topic.
Not every dog is safe to place or adoptable.
But as pet owners, we have a responsibility to not dump our burden on others & to do what is right for our pets.

Rescuers’ hearts aren’t made of steel.
We already deal with traumatized animals every day, alongside endless illness, abandonment, and more.

But we refused to leave his side, even if it takes another notch out of us.
We are sorry sweet boy.

🏠 Foster needed TODAY

This pup was abandoned at a job site in Rosenberg, TX. He appears to be a little over one year old and has been friendly with the workers who have been bringing him food and water.

He follows the workers toward the main road when they leave, placing him in serious danger. He has nowhere safe to go tonight.

We urgently need a committed foster who can welcome him indoors and give him a safe place.

Please message Casper and Furry Friends Animal Rescue immediately if you can help. If you cannot foster, please share. One safe place could save his life.

WE NEED YOUR HELP WITH AN UNEXPECTED VET EXPENSE 🚐💕

Last Thursday, three of our rescued pets were fully prepared to begin their journey to their forever families in the Pacific Northwest. Sadly, their transport was canceled that same day.

All three pets had received their health certificates the day before their scheduled departure. However, state regulations require health certificates to be issued within five days of entry. Because of the unexpected delay, their original certificates are no longer valid.

They are now scheduled to leave tomorrow night, which means all three must return to the vet for new health certificates.
🐶💕🐱💕🐶

Each vet visit will cost between $60 and $110 per pet, for a total unexpected expense of up to $330.

If you are able to donate, any amount will go directly toward covering these required vet visits and helping our rescues finally make their journey home. Every donation truly makes a difference. 💌

Mocha Update ✨🤎

Mocha was rescued from the shelter along with her four precious puppies, and we are so happy to share that they are all thriving! 💕

Her puppies are now ready to find their forever families, and sweet Mocha has made incredible progress. When she first arrived, she was shy and needed time to feel safe and learn to trust people. Today, she is much more confident and loves spending time with her foster mom and dad.

Mocha is also friendly with other dogs and children. We are so proud of how far this beautiful family has come! 💕✨
