SUMMER GALA AUCTION! Farm-to-Table Cooking Class...

At our Friday Gala, guests can bid to bring the farm to their own kitchen with a private 2-hour cooking class for four. Farm Director and professional chef Tracy Hayhurst guides preparation of a seasonal lunch with produce grown by youth at April Hill. Starters, main dishes, sides, dessert—with your food choices!

Gather up to 10 guests for an unforgettable evening in the historic April Hill Barn, in one of the Berkshires’ most picturesque settings Acclaimed chef Leah Guadagnoli of Fancy Feast Supper Club will prepare your dinner with farm-inspired seasonal ingredients—including April Hill-grown produce. You supply alcoholic beverages. We are eager to see who wins this one...

Lettuce Heads Up! We've opened our first retail farm stand at our April Hill farm!

Everyone is invited to drop in for freshly picked fare which is planted, tended and harvested by our Greenagers summer farm crew of teens and young adults working at April Hill this summer. The Farm Stand is open Tuesday-Friday, with an honor system set up for payment.

Greenagers Farm Director Tracy Hayhurst says, “With our new farm stand we are excited to offer our produce directly to visitors to April Hill and the wider Greenagers community. In addition to growing the veggies at the farm, now the summer farm crew can experience a retail aspect of farm marketing. We’re also happy to offer sliding scale pricing in hopes that all in our community feel welcome to visit April Hill for fresh, healthy, local food.”

The Farm Stand is also a place where new visitors can stop in and get a glimpse of April Hill and the Greenagers operation.

Last year, Greenagers grew and distributed more than 10,000 of farm produce to area food pantries and is now on track for a similar harvest in 2026. Proceeds from our retail farm stand will help support our food pantry commitment and other Greenagers programs.

COUNTDOWN TO GALA: This is a big year for Greenagers Trail Crews in Northwest Connecticut! Our teams have worked in Kent and West Cornwall on portions of the Appalachian Trail and other hiking trails. Check out this fine bridge built at Rattlesnake Preserve by our Trail Crew! We've worked for a number of NWCT conservation organizations in the last couple of years and we are grateful for these partnerships! Celebrate with us at our Aug. 14 Summer Gala, and you can get ticktets at Greenagers.org
