Join us on Saturday, August 22nd, at the south side of Redondo Beach Pier with our friends at ALPAKA ! 🦙🌊

Dog Haus Running Club (DHRC) will also be joining us as part of their annual collaboration.🏃🏽‍♀️‍➡️🏃🏻‍♂️

Did you know that the day after the 4th of July is the dirtiest beach day of the year? 🎆 🗑️

Firework debris, plastic cups, broken chairs, food wrappers, single-use waste...it all gets buried in the sand washes into the ocean. 😱

Please join us the morning after the 4th to help clean up with a SOLO beach cleanup. We will provide the cleanup gear - you provide the energy! 💥 The beach doesn’t clean itself. Show your love by coming out and keeping your favorite place beautiful! Join us! 🌴🌊☀️ Link in bio.

What a gorgeous, sunny🌞 day for a Pride Month Beach Cleanup and International Surfing Day🏄🏽‍♀️ ! Thanks to Mayor Detoy of , his fabulous staff, the center and over 50 volunteers for joining us to help clean up our beach!🏖️ We picked up over 65 lbs of trash! 🗑️ We’re always reminded how lucky we are to live in the South Bay. 😊

“Surfrider has a history of successfully driving change through public policy. Coastal conservation efforts would not have come as far as they have without the community engagement that Surfrider leads.”

Rani Crosby is the President of the Surfrider Student Club at UC San Diego. 🌊 First getting involved with the South Bay Chapter’s Blue Water Task Force in 7th grade, Rani has grown from student lab director to building an entirely new Surfrider community on her college campus — creating a space for UCSD students passionate about coastal conservation to connect, learn, and take action.
