“Then this message came to me from the Lord: “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds, the leaders of Israel. Give them this message from the Sovereign Lord: What sorrow awaits you shepherds who feed yourselves instead of your flocks. Shouldn’t shepherds feed their sheep? You drink the milk, wear the wool, and butcher the best animals, but you let your flocks starve. You have not taken care of the weak. You have not tended the sick or bound up the injured. You have not gone looking for those who have wandered away and are lost. Instead, you have ruled them with harshness and cruelty. So my sheep have been scattered without a shepherd, and they are easy prey for any wild animal. They have wandered through all the mountains and all the hills, across the face of the earth, yet no one has gone to search for them.”

When local social services and support networks close for the weekend or do not return calls, vulnerable Long Islanders are left with nowhere to turn.
Right now, neighbors in emergency situations need immediate assistance covering urgent safety costs like campground fees, temporary shelter, and emergency meals when system resources fall short. Homeless Long Island relies entirely on donor support to step in and fill these critical gaps before it is too late.
Help us reduce our struggling neighbors suffering!
How Your Donation Helps:
* $10 — Warm meal, coffee, or essential transit fare.
* $25 — Emergency care package for a neighbor in crisis. Uber fees.
* $50 — Hot meal delivery for a group in need. Partial hotel fee. Uber
* $100 — Emergency shelter or campsite fee coverage over the weekend.
100% of your tax-deductible gift goes directly toward assisting local unhoused individuals in Nassau and Suffolk counties.
Help us answer the call when no one else does.

🚨 URGENT:Update,,unfortunately we desperately need funds for a truck ,this is one of those cases where the needs of the many out weight the needs of the few ,we will have to pull funds from medical and food assitance program probably before winter ,The truck is our lifeline without it we are dead, and dead affects all ..thank you. WE NEED ONE BUSINESS TO STEP UP AND HELP SAVE OUR MISSION 🚨

ATTENTION BUSINESS OWNERS, VETERINARY OFFICES, ANIMAL HOSPITALS, PET STORES, CAR DEALERS, AND CORPORATE SPONSORS

Every single day, our delivery truck is on the road helping families who can no longer afford to feed their pets. It delivers thousands of pounds of pet food, human food, clothing, emergency supplies, and transports animals that desperately need help.

Our truck is wearing out. The repairs are becoming more frequent and more expensive, and we cannot continue pouring money into a vehicle that could fail at any time.

Without a dependable truck, everything stops.

That means fewer pet food deliveries, fewer emergency rescues, fewer supplies for families in need, and more pets at risk of going hungry or being surrendered.

We are searching for ONE major sponsor willing to help with the $25,000 down payment on a reliable used truck.

In return, your business will become our Exclusive Truck Sponsor. Your company name and logo will be prominently displayed on our truck at no cost, reaching thousands of people across Long Island every month. We travel more than 3,000 miles every month—often even more—between Long Island and New York City, giving your business continuous exposure while supporting a mission that changes lives.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, your contribution may be tax-deductible while showing the community that your business truly cares about keeping families together and pets out of shelters.

We also want to thank everyone who offered advice. We took it. We contacted car dealerships, rental truck companies, used car lots, and many other businesses. Unfortunately, most never responded—not even with a simple "no." It has been discouraging, but we're not giving up.

If you know a business owner, someone looking for a tax deduction, or anyone who would like an incredible advertising opportunity while making a real difference, please share this post or connect us. Sometimes one introduction is all it takes.

This isn't just sponsoring a truck.

You're sponsoring every family that depends on us. Every dog that gets another meal. Every cat that stays in its home instead of entering a shelter. Every life we can continue to help because our wheels keep turning.

Please contact us today. Time is running out, and we cannot do this alone.
