🍀 Our county may be small, but we are MIGHTY!

Treutlen had four 4-H'ers to attend the Georgia 4-H State Horse Show last week in Perry, Georgia. There were four main divisions, 108 classes, and 176 competitors at the state show.
We had competitors in all three age divisions, showing in several classes and riding divisions:
Cloverleaf Division; Perri Scott
Junior Division; Arlyn Campbell
Senior Division; Ella Roberson and Payton Campbell
Junior and Senior Divisions can advance to the Regional Show. With that being said, Payton, Arlyn, and Ella will advance to the Southern Regional Show in July.
Some other honorable mentions:
🌟Perri was awarded the Sportsmanship Award, finished Top Ten in every class she competed in, and received 5th overall for Stock Seat and Ranch Horse divisions. We also want to give a shout-out to her 25-year-old mount, TEX, adding more awards to his resume and Perri's.
🌟Arlyn received 3rd overall in Western (Stock Seat) and Grand Champion for the Ranch Division.
🌟Payton received Grand Champion in Western (stock seat) and Grand Champion in Ranch. She is now a Master 4-H'er and will attend 4-H State Congress as well!
🌟Ella placed 5th overall in the Ranch Division and received 2nd in Boxing and Herd.
We are extremely proud of these 4-H'ers and their huge accomplishments at the 2026 Georgia 4-H State Horse!
