8U - 14U Softball and Baseball will end Friday, February 27. Soperton Treutlen Recreation would like to have all the leagues full. Any that do not end with enough for at least 2 teams will be cancelled. We don't want that to happen.

Registration has officially closed. We are delighted with the enthusiastic response. Nevertheless, certain leagues still lack sufficient players to form at least two teams. To address this, we will extend registration for two key reasons. Firstly, some leagues require additional time to fill their rosters, and secondly, we expect to receive an update on the recreation department's construction progress by the end of next week. The 4U and 6U age groups saw an exceptional turnout during registration, resulting in an abundance
of players. As a result, t-ball registration will conclude on Tuesday. Registration for 8U through 14U softball and baseball will remain open until Friday. Please note that late fees will not be applied due to the ongoing construction. We will provide regular updates on the leagues requiring additional players and the construction timeline. sopertontreutlenrec.com.

From Ray: Soperton Treutlen Recreation will have a 14U boys' and 14U girls' league this year, depending on enough players. I've heard that some parents were told that if you play travel ball, you shouldn't play rec ball. This is not true. Playing rec ball only makes you a better ball player. Support your community and children by volunteering to coach, umpire games, and enouraging all kids to play at the recreation level. All ages of travel players should play rec ball.
