This Father's Day feels different.

For our family, it is the first Father's Day without my brother, Shane, the inspiration, driving force, and purpose behind Shane's Bill.

Of all the things Shane accomplished in life, nothing meant more to him than being a father. The moment he learned his children's hearts were beating, there was no longer just "Shane." He became Dad. His five children were his greatest love, greatest accomplishment, and the purpose behind every decision he made. Not a day went by that they weren't on his mind. Every sacrifice, every goal, every plan for the future somehow circled back to them.

While our hearts ache, I find peace in believing his love remains. Today, I take comfort in knowing he watches over them free from the conflict and heartache that once surrounded him. No court order, no contention, and no circumstance can stand between a father's love and his children now. His love is uninterrupted. His presence unwavering. His love eternal.

Today, we also honor the fathers who sacrifice quietly, work tirelessly, love fiercely, and show up every day for their children, especially those fighting simply to remain present in their children's lives.

Fathers matter.

Children need their fathers.

That belief is one of the reasons Shane's Bill exists.

So today, hold your children a little tighter, make the memories, take the pictures, and never take the ordinary moments for granted.

And for our Shane...

We miss you beyond words. Your children are your legacy. Your love remains. And you will always be remembered as a devoted father whose greatest joy in life was being Dad.

To every woman who truly puts her children first, thank you.

To the mothers who choose action over words, who make difficult compromises for the well being of their children, who lead with love, wisdom, patience, and integrity… we see you.

Motherhood is more than a title. It is guidance, protection, sacrifice, nurturing, teaching, comforting, and providing stability through every season of life.

Strong mothers understand the importance of the family unit. They recognize the value of healthy father involvement, supportive grandparents, extended family, mentors, and community. There is truth in the saying, “it takes a village,” because children thrive when surrounded by love, support, accountability, and connection.

No one was meant to do this life entirely alone. Founded in faith, grace, and compassion, we are reminded that just as we lean on God’s grace through life, children also rely on the grace, love, and guidance poured into them by those who choose to nurture and protect them.

Today, we honor the women who continue choosing what is right over what is easy, and who selflessly pour love into the next generation 🩷

💔 What is DARVO? The Tactic That Silences Male Victims

DARVO stands for Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender.

It’s a common manipulation strategy in abusive relationships:

• Deny the abuse ever happened
• Attack the victim’s character
• Reverse roles — making the abuser the victim and the real victim the offender

This leaves men confused, gaslit, and isolated — especially when false accusations fly during separations or divorces.

The reality for men:

✅️ 24.8% of men (about 3.6 million in the U.S.) have experienced psychological aggression by an intimate partner in their lifetime (CDC NISVS 2023/2024).

✅️ 99% of men calling specialist helplines report psychological/emotional abuse, with 89% experiencing coercive control (ManKind Initiative).

✅️ Men make up ~40% of domestic abuse victims overall, yet many suffer in silence due to stigma.

DARVO makes it even harder for male victims to be believed or seek help.
