This May, our Ophthalmology team is proud to once again participate in the ACVO/Epicur National Service Animal Eye Exam event, offering complimentary eye screenings for qualifying Service and Working Animals.

These dedicated animals give so much, and we’re honored to support their health and well-being.

Here’s how to participate:
• Service & Working Animals must be registered through ACVO
• Registration is open April 1–30 and is limited based on eligibility
• Learn more about qualifications and register here: acvo-saves.org

Once your service or working animal is registered through ACVO, contact us at (603) 433-0056 to schedule their free ocular exam. Appointments will be available throughout May with our board-certified ophthalmologists.

Let’s work together to keep these incredible animals seeing - and serving - their best.

New Hampshire already has laws like this and we are glad to see South Dakotah follow our lead!

The South Dakota Legislature recently introduced two bills, Senate Bill 81 (SB 81) and Senate Bill 82 (SB 82), which could make a big difference for people who use service dogs. These bills are designed to better protect service dog handlers and make the laws clearer for everyone.

We are in support of both of these bills. Learn about the legislation and how you can take action at https://www.guidedogs.com/blog/south-dakota
