Good Morning Friends.

We’ve been in awe all weekend of the things happening in the southeast since last week late. By now you’ve seen the news and all the social media videos of the absolute HORROR they are living out. When we thought it could never be worse than what we experienced in eastern Kentucky the reports coming in are absolutely gut wrenching. I have many friends in NC through our bbq network so I’m able to get real time thoughts and ideas from ground zero. Trailer loads of goods are not only being turned away but are overwhelming the areas that need cleaned up, repaired, rescued, and FED! So what can we do today? We believe our best course of action is to open our donation platform to raise money to 1. Send down to legitimate bbq businesses and groups that can get meals into hungry hands! 2. Be used for what they need or who needs it. We trust our partners in North Carolina to take care of their brothers but we want them to know our network of neighbors is here them today and until they are ok. This is going to be a LONG fight for them and we will campaign as long and as many times as we can. That said we are only the vessel for your love and generosity and won’t be able to do it without you and your networks. So please SHARE, Donate, don’t stop talking about NC until the conversation turns to that they are in the solid road to recovery. Any questions please DM this page or Dave White for now.

As far as a goods drive we will be ready to do that when we get word it can get there SAFELY and that is currently not the case at all.

It’s time for the 5th Annual Hog Days of Summer BBQ Cook-off and we have moved to Bloomington Indiana at Fairfax Beach SRA! The event dates are 7/26 & 7/27. This event is a fundraising effort for Hoosiers With Hearts Disaster Relief Team. We’ve had great success in our first four events but outgrew our space at Boggs. When the opportunity presented itself to move to Bloomington and Lake Monroe it was a no brainer. There will be food, drinks, beer garden, music and more. As with any non-profit event we need partners more than anything. We are starting from scratch in Bloomington and need all the help we can get.
