Members of L2079, along with mutual aid partners from Twinsburg Fire and Chagrin Valley Fire Department, participated in live burn training today at the Tri-C Fire Academy in Parma.

Chagrin Valley Dispatch assisted in providing companies with simulated dispatch information while firefighters conducted scenarios involving fire attack, search, victim removal, and ventilation.

Live fire training like this provides us with an invaluable opportunity to work together and sharpen our skills in a controlled, realistic environment. Our members received great feedback from academy instructors throughout the day and came away with plenty to take back to the station and continue building upon.

A huge thank you to the instructors, dispatchers, and everyone who put their time and effort into organizing and making today’s training possible. Opportunities like this take a lot of work behind the scenes, and we appreciate everyone who helped make it possible.
