The Rotary Club of Smithtown Sunrise

The Rotary Club of Smithtown Sunrise We meet early Thursday mornings from 7:45 - 8:45 at the Smithtown Millennium Diner. Who meets this early and has this much fun?

The Rotary Club of Smithtown is a club made up of energetic Smithtown residents from
various business and professional backgrounds and lifestyles that are interested in community
service and work on projects that are local, national & international. The club has interesting guest speakers on a wide variety of topics that are educational and
motivational to all. Members have an opportunity to build

lifelong friendships and experience the personal
fulfillment of providing volunteer service on projects relating to health, hunger, environmental
concerns, literacy and vocational assistance, drug abuse and assisting senior citizens and young
people. Well, we are always looking for new
members, but we are very selective. If you have a big heart, small ego, and a generous attitude
you're almost there. You might even make a new network of friends that'll prove to be
invaluable. So, come down and have breakfast with us and see if this is the place for you. Meetings are open to the service oriented community with the exception of the
last Thursday of each month when the club holds their business assembly. Our services involve helping to feed the hungry, by supporting the local food pantry and
Supporting the Gift of Life. And most recently, The United Veterans Beacon House.

✨ What a Night. What a Difference. ✨

Yesterday, the Smithtown Sunrise Rotary Club proudly presented a $15,000 check to the Winters Center for Autism — made possible through the success of our annual Snowball Gala.

This moment is what Rotary is all about — bringing people together to create meaningful impact. Every ticket purchased, every sponsor, and every supporter helped turn one incredible evening into real support for an amazing organization.

We are grateful to stand alongside the Winters Center for Autism and support the life-changing work they do each and every day. 💙

👏 Thank you to our entire community for showing up, giving back, and making a difference!

💛 Service Above Self in Action – Supporting Jagger Rubio 💛

The Rotary Club of Smithtown Sunrise and the Sunrise Rotary Charitable Fund are proud to support one of our own, Jagger Rubio, a 23-year-old Smithtown High School West Class of 2020 alum and member of our local lacrosse family.

Jagger’s journey has always reflected dedication, hard work, and community spirit — from youth lacrosse through Great Hollow Middle School, Legacy Taz 2020, and Smithtown West JV & Varsity. After earning his Master’s Degree in Accounting from Penn State in May 2025, he began his career at PwC in Manhattan.

In September 2025, Jagger was diagnosed with a highly aggressive Grade 4 diffuse hemispheric glioma. Since then, he has shown incredible strength, courage, and resilience while undergoing ongoing treatment.

Now, it’s our turn to stand with Jagger and the Rubio family.

🌅 Service Starts at the Table

On Monday, March 2, members of the Rotary Club of Smithtown Sunrise had the pleasure of hosting students from the Smithtown High School West Interact Club for a special dinner meeting at Smithtown Bistro & Pub.

It was a wonderful evening of fellowship, mentorship, and shared purpose as Rotarians and student leaders gathered to discuss ways we can work together on future service projects throughout our community.

Seeing Interactors and Rotarians around the same table — exchanging ideas, building relationships, and planning ways to give back — perfectly reflects the mission and spirit of Rotary.

We are incredibly proud of these students and excited about the impact we can make together in the months ahead.

✨ The future of service and leadership in Smithtown is in great hands.
