We are blessed to have a parish that supports our mission to serve those in need. On Monday, May 18, we served 105 families. Food assistance for 86 families and financial assistance for 19 families. God is good.

Are you growing a vegetable garden this year? Are your nighttime anonymous vegetable abandonments the reason your neighbors have installed Ring cameras? Well, we have a lot of families that come to our food pantry who would love to have those extra vegetables of yours over for dinner. If you have extra vegetables that you would be willing to donate to the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry at St. Mary Magdalene, please call our office number (864) 537-4268 and leave us a message. This past Monday, May 11, we served 80 families in need. Sixty families received food assistance and 20 families received financial assistance. We are blessed to serve.

On Monday we served 86 families in need. We served 70 families with food assistance and 16 families with utility assistance. Thank you to our parishioners for their continued blessings.

Today (4/20), through the generosity of our parishioners, we served 90 families in need. Food assistance for 72 families and utility assistance for 18 families. God is good.

Our food pantry is running low on two items: canned fruit and canned chicken. If you are able to donate either one of those items, our St. Vincent basket is located in the Narthex. ❤️

We are so blessed to be the hands and heart of Christ in service to our neighbors in need. This past Monday, we helped 78 families in need with food assistance and 20 families in need with financial assistance.
Through the generosity of our parishioners, 98 families in need found help, comfort, and the blessing of prayer. ❤️🙏. We love our parish.

As we enter Holy Week, two people in particular stand out to me as we pray the Stations of the Cross: Simon of Cyrene and Veronica. At our Mondays at St. Vincent, we encounter many of our neighbors in need who carry heavy burdens and crosses such as Simon did. We hear concerns over worsening health, children lost to addiction or violence, grandchildren following dangerous paths, job loss, stress.
But like Veronica, you, our parishioners, have for over thirty years enabled us to give relief to those in whom we see our suffering Lord. In 2025, your generosity has provided us the means to help 934 families in need with financial assistance and 2740 families in need with food assistance.
On Holy Thursday, the offering collected helps fund our mission here at St. Mary Magdalene. We give thanks for all the blessings we have received whether food, financial, or prayer support. Let our Lord’s words, “Whatever you do for the least of these, my brothers, you did for me.”, dwell in our hearts.

This past Monday we served 88 families in need. Sixty-five families came for food assistance and twenty-three for financial assistance.

So good to get back to normal and greet our friends and neighbors. On Monday we helped 91 families in need. 23 families in need with financial assistance and 68 families in need with food. We are blessed to be able to serve.
