Last Monday, August 31, we served 77 families in need. Sixty-two came for food assistance and 15 for financial assistance. We give thanks for our parishioners who partner with us to serve our community in need whether it’s financially, donating food items, or with their prayers. We are grateful. 🙏

This past Monday, August 10, we were blessed to serve 100 families in need. We had 82 families come for food assistance and 18 for financial assistance. We give thanks for our parishioners and pray for the needs of those who come seeking help. ❤️🙏

On Monday, August 3, we helped 84 families in need-66 families came for food assistance and 18 for financial assistance. Every Monday we pray in gratitude for our parish family that so generously supports us. ❤️🙏🏻

On July 13, we were blessed to help 59 families in need with food assistance and 18 families in need with utility assistance. But let’s dive deeper into those numbers. They represent one family unit. We have a second number that accounts for everyone in the family. It’s named Total Helped With Others. When you look at that number, the picture of how many we served last week changes dramatically. The 59 families represents 193 individuals and the 18 families represents 54 individuals: spouses, children, grandchildren, even great grandchildren. Our parishioners who bless us with donations of food and financial support help us to become the hands of Christ reaching out into our community. We are so grateful. 🙏🏻❤️

On Monday, June 22, we served 74 families in need. Fifty-four came for food assistance and twenty for utility assistance.
We are also so grateful to our amazing SMMCC parish and our Knights for the great success of our food drive. We are all together the hands and heart of Christ in service to our neighbors in need. ❤️❤️

This past Monday(6/8), we were blessed to serve 92 families in need-75 with food assistance and 17 with utility assistance. 🙏🙏❤️

We are blessed to have a parish that supports our mission to serve those in need. On Monday, May 18, we served 105 families. Food assistance for 86 families and financial assistance for 19 families. God is good.

Are you growing a vegetable garden this year? Are your nighttime anonymous vegetable abandonments the reason your neighbors have installed Ring cameras? Well, we have a lot of families that come to our food pantry who would love to have those extra vegetables of yours over for dinner. If you have extra vegetables that you would be willing to donate to the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry at St. Mary Magdalene, please call our office number (864) 537-4268 and leave us a message.
