On March 28, 2026 the Eta Theta Sigma and Eta Iota Sigma Alumnae Chapters co-hosted more than 90 students at the Annual Youth Symposium 2026.

The joint chapter Youth Symposium Committee, the Sigma Family (Sorors, Philos, Rhoers) joined in with our guests for a whole group Rock, Paper, Scissors game, career exploration activities, creating self-soothing boxes, yoga & mindfulness lessons, financial literacy, and a fun filled Shark Tank experience.

Sorors from the Mu Omega Chapter at George Mason University created and led fun trivia games and the Rhoers developed and presented their work tips for employment workshop. Students enjoyed raffles, lunch, and earned student service learning hours toward graduation for creating bookmarks that will be donated and placed in the ETS Little Free Libraries.

Held simultaneously, in the month of March by Alumnae Chapters across the nation, our Youth Symposium serves as a unifying effort to highlight some of the prevalent concerns that impact our youth and enjoy learning new skills while having fun!!!💙💛

Are you ready for the Annual Sigma Youth Symposium hosted by the Eta Theta Sigma and Eta Iota Sigma Chapters of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc (Montgomery County, MD) happening TOMORROW?

Join us as we support, serve, and empower youth educationally, civically, socially, physically, and emotionally.
