Today we celebrate one of the Church’s great saints, a woman of deep prayer, courage, and wisdom.

St. Teresa of Ávila reminds us that holiness often takes root in suffering lovingly offered to God. Within every trial lies the tenderness of His love — a love that refines, purifies, and strengthens the soul.

Through her writings, The Interior Castle and The Way of Perfection, she showed that the soul is God’s dwelling place and that prayer draws us ever closer to His heart.

As we honor her today, may we follow her example of trust and devotion, allowing God to be the center of all we do.

Please join the Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity and the entire Trinity Missions family in praying for our Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV. 🤍

As he recovers from surgery following a diagnosis of lung cancer, we ask the Lord to surround him with His healing grace, give him strength and peace, and guide all those caring for him.

May our Blessed Mother, Health of the Sick, keep Pope Leo under her loving mantle and bring him comfort and renewed strength in the days ahead.

On Indigenous Peoples Day, we honor the deep faith, rich traditions, and enduring strength of Native American communities.

We are grateful to serve alongside our Indigenous brothers and sisters, including the Choctaw in Mississippi, the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and Tohono O’odham Nation in South Tucson, and the Augustine Desert Cahuilla Tribe in the Coachella Valley, California.

Their faith and resilience inspire us to walk humbly, serve faithfully, and build communities rooted in love and respect. As we celebrate this day, may we remember Christ’s call to unity and the sacred dignity found in every culture and person.

Together, let us continue building bridges of understanding, respect, and hope.

Music has a beautiful way of bringing people together! 🎶

On Wednesday, the priests and Brothers in senior ministry at Fr. Judge Missionary Cenacle in Adelphi, Maryland, welcomed friends and Trinity Missions staff for a special concert of talented students from the Music Department of Adventist University.

Many of the students come from other countries, but music created a shared language of joy, friendship, and community. Following the concert, everyone gathered for lunch, enjoying good conversation and the opportunity to get to know one another.

We are grateful to these wonderful students for sharing their musical gifts and brightening the day for our priests and Brothers. Moments like these remind us that a simple gift of time and talent can create meaningful connections across cultures and generations.

October 8 is DAF Day, a day to put mercy into action.

Today we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary.

For centuries, the Rosary has guided Christians in faith and perseverance. It is more than a string of beads—it is a sacramental carrying the blessing of the Church and the mysteries of our salvation.

As our founder Fr. Thomas A. Judge once wrote:
“Grasp your rosary firmly. Study and say the rosary with fervor and ask much of our powerful Queen. Everything you need will come to you through the rosary.”

Take a moment today to pray the Rosary, entrusting your intentions to the Blessed Mother and finding peace in her loving protection.

Happy Feast of St. Francis of Assisi!

St. Francis is often remembered for his love of creation and animals, but he was also a great missionary who traveled far from home to share the love of God and sought to follow Christ through a life of simplicity, humility, and service.

In this special Jubilee Year of St. Francis, marking 800 years since his death, we are reminded of his call to be instruments of peace.

“Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon.”

May the example of St. Francis inspire us to bring the Good News to those around us and to choose love, forgiveness, and peace wherever we are.

Yesterday was the final day of the Mission Partner Service Project in Costa Rica.

Over the past several days, our Mission Partners have shared their time, energy, and hearts in service to families in the community. Through home repairs, painting, building ramps, and other projects, they helped make a meaningful difference for those they met.

We are deeply grateful for their willingness to serve and for the joy they brought to our mission.

As they begin their journeys home, please keep our Mission Partners in your prayers. Pray for safe travels, for the families they served, and that the experience of serving alongside one another will continue to inspire them long after they return home.

May the people they met, the stories they heard, and the moments they shared remain in their hearts—and remind us all that when we serve others, we encounter Christ.

Safe travels, Mission Partners! We are grateful for the ways you shared your gifts and made a difference. 🙏

Today, on the Feast of the Holy Guardian Angels, we honor those heavenly companions God has entrusted to guide and protect us.

As Fr. Thomas A. Judge once reflected, angels are “most beautiful mirrors, reflecting the spirituality of the Godhead.”

Your Guardian Angel is your true friend, always acting for your good, illuminating your mind, and protecting you from danger, temptation, and sin.

Take a moment to pray:
Angel of God, my guardian dear,
to whom God's love commits me here,
ever this day (or night) be at my side,
to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.

Give thanks for the gentle presence of your heavenly companion.
