A 29 year old woman named Olumma Chizoba Lucy was allegedly beaten to death by her husband, Kelechi Prince Okeke on the 2nd of February in Imo State, Nigeria.
It was said he killed her just because she requested her own money from him. The sum of 35,000 Naira her customer had sent to his account since her own account had issues at her shop. And so when she closed from the market that day, she went home and asked her husband for the money, he refused to give her and proceeded to beat her up.

But here is the thing, Kelechi has denied beating her up. He claims they were eating when she suddenly complained of chest pain and died. But no one believes him because he has a history of beating his wife.

No to violence against women.

This Christmas, we’re reminded that family is our greatest gift.
It’s a season of coming together, of mending what was broken, and choosing love over pride. May this time of reunion soften our hearts, heal old wounds, and open the door to forgiveness. Let laughter replace distance, peace replace pain, and grace guide every conversation. As we gather, may we remember that forgiveness is the bridge that brings families back together—and love is what keeps us there.
Merry Christmas, filled with unity, healing, and renewed love. 🎄❤️

Thank God for the gift of life. Many wished to see this month, but we are blessed to stand in December with breath, strength, and purpose. As we close the year, may His grace guide you, His peace surround you, and His favor lead you into greater things. Amen. .

🌟 A Message of Hope for Your Heart 🌟

When someone is sick, all they wish for is healing.
When someone is hungry, all they long for is food.
When someone is in prison, their greatest desire is freedom.

These simple truths remind us of something deep:
If you wake up today with health in your body, food to eat, and the freedom to move, dream, and choose your path — you already have some of the greatest blessings in life.

Sometimes we focus so much on what we don’t have that we forget to appreciate what we do have.
So take a moment today to breathe, be grateful, and be encouraged.
Life may not be perfect, but you are blessed with everything you need to keep going, growing, and rising.
💛 Hold onto hope. Appreciate the present. Better days are coming. Remember God got you in the palm of His hand. And He love and care for you.

Violence Against Women

Violence against women is one of the most pervasive and deeply rooted human rights violations in the world today. It affects women of every age, culture, background, and social status. Whether it takes the form of physical assault, emotional or psychological abuse, sexual violence, human trafficking, or harmful cultural practices, it destroys lives, families, and communities.

At the heart of this issue is inequality—unequal power, unequal opportunities, and unequal access to safety and justice. Many women are silenced by fear, stigma, and lack of support. Many suffer in silence because society often normalizes or minimizes their pain. This silence allows abuse to continue generation after generation.

Ending violence against women requires more than sympathy; it requires action. It requires educating communities, empowering girls, holding perpetrators accountable, strengthening legal systems, and creating safe spaces where women can seek help without fear. It also requires men and boys to be part of the solution by challenging harmful norms and promoting respect, equality, and accountability.

Every woman has the right to live free from fear. Every woman deserves dignity, safety, and opportunity. Violence against women is not a private matter—it is a global crisis, a public health issue, and a moral failure. Together, we must raise our voices, protect survivors, and commit to building a world where every woman and girl can live confidently, safely, and without violence.
