The Saints Spring Saints Organization welcomes Coach Donnie Thomas as the head football coach for the Silver Spring Saints 9U Football Team. Coach Donnie is no stranger to youth football as he has coached in the area for over a decade. He has served as an assistant coach within the Saints organization over the past 3 years. Coach Donnie is a Howard County native and currently resides in Columbia, MD. He looks to bring excitement and lead our youth next season.

The Silver Spring Saints Organization welcomes Coach Gus Macfoy (“Coach Mac”) as the head football coach for the Silver Spring Saints 11u Football Team. Coach Mac served as the previous season’s assistant head coach and provides over 12 years of various coaching experience to the team. Prince George’s County native, Coach Mac graduated and lettered in football at Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, MD, and went on to play and earn championship honors at NCAA DII powerhouse program, Shepherd University in West Virginia. Coach Mac earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at the University of Maryland, College Park. He looks to expand the Saints winning legacy and impact the youth with the “Expect to win” philosophy he sets out to instill in the team through “discipline, hard work, competition, teamwork, and brotherhood.”
