Wheaton Redevelopment Project on Lot 13

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation will present a panel of participants to provide a project update on the Maryland National Capital Park & Planning Commission building and the public town square to be located on parking lot 13 in Wheaton, MD.

The topics to be covered are as follows:
Project Design, Scope and Schedule
Parking Mitigation Plan
Traffic Improvements
Small Business Assistance Program

The presenters are comprised of the following groups:

Latino Economic Development Center

This was just posted on a Wheaton group. Thought I would share it with Glenmont residents: "I have your dinner plans covered for this Monday, June 8th! The Wheaton High School Robotics Team Knight-Riders will be having a fundraiser at the Panera Bread in Aspen Hill from 6pm-9pm. Please come out and support these hard working kids and have some dinner. It is a "no-invitation" type deal, so anyone who comes in from 6-9 and buys anything, the team will receive a portion of the profits. Please share with your friends and family! Stop by our table and say "hi" so we can thank you in person!"

Thanks to our intrepid Secretary, we did have a cleanup day this past Saturday. In spike of temperatures near freezing, we did rid part of Randolph Road, the community center, and the park of trash!!!
