For those who are going to join us for camping (April 10-12, 2026) at Assateague National Seashore our club has sites (loop 1) 10, 12, 14, and 16. I know that some families have enjoyed having their own campsite. The campsites for that weekend just went on sale this morning so they will fill up fast.

Last call for the Pathfinder Backpacking trip this weekend. If you are interested please let Pastor Armando, James DeBerry or myself know by the end of today. We will be leaving after church this Sabbath and return on Sunday by noon. Pathfinder Induction this evening at 6 pm. Afterwards we will have some pizza, fun and games so bring some clothes to change into (and your extra camporee pins if you want to do some pin trading!).

A few quick announcements: (1) Tomorrow evening at 6 pm we will have the Pathfinder Induction at 6 pm. Afterward we will have some pizza and some time for fun and games so bring some clothes to change into. (2) For those who have worked on their model rockets, we have permission to shoot them off in the field next to the school so those who would like to, we will have an opportunity to launch the rockets between noon and 2 pm. I have enough engines so that each Pathfinder can shoot their rocket off at least twice. (3) Our next club meeting will be Wednesday evening, November 6th; (4) we will have permission sheets for the Backpacking trip Nov. 8-10 tomorrow evening; and (5) we will be doing a holiday food bag collection for Thanksgiving distributing bags on Sabbath afternoon Nov. 16, and collection food on Sabbath afternoon, Nov. 23. We need drivers and lots of help so contact James, Pastor John, or me if you would like to participate. This is a great community service opportunity. We also need any volunteers to complete the Stirling background and insurance requirements if you volunteer. [updated with correct dates]
