Shout out to one of our amazing volunteers! Today's highlight is for Redab Alnifaidy!
We are blessed to have a group of amazing young people like Redab who have been supporting the school for years and do it with so much joy and love.
Thanks Redab and all our volunteers! we couldn't do it without you and know that you are great role models for our students.
And oh yeah, she has an M.S. in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from Georgetown University!

What hobby would you get into if time and money weren't an issue?: Hot spring tourism - I’d get to combine travel and a natural spa every time I take a trip.
What is the best advice you have ever received?: One of my advisors always reminded me that “the perfect is the enemy of the good,” paraphrased from Voltaire. It’s a lesson that has taken me a long time to learn and at times it still falls by the wayside. Regardless, this reminder has taught me how to let go of the non-essential things that need not be perfect, allowing me to focus my limited time and energy resources on creating good work instead of obsessing over unimportant perfectionistic details.

Photos from Level 1 Arabic class last week!
Ms. Zeinab led the class in a fun yoga activity at the end of the class and the kids seemed to enjoy it!
This was after we had fun dancing and singing to 'alif ba' song!

Thanks to all the parents and teachers who participated in today's parent-teachers meeting.
We had a very productive meeting and will proceed inshallah with using this method in teaching our students the Arabic language starting at Level-1.
Ustaza Muna, Arabic Level 2 and 3, recommended we use it and everyone agreed especially that Ustaza Muna is already seeing a significant improvement with some of our students.
Our School Principal, Ustaz Abdelgayoum, will update us with details inshalah in the coming few weeks.
Please make sure you participate in these meetings so you can find out about these updates and share your input.
As most of us shared today in the meeting, support from the parents at home makes a HUGE difference in terms of the students learning. So, we ask that you continue to encourage the students to learn, even if it's a few minutes every day, every other day, whatever fits your schedule best.
