Today we proudly celebrate the 65th Anniversary of the Daughters of Penelope Arion Chapter 298.

For 65 years, Arion has carried forward a beautiful legacy of sisterhood, Hellenism, service, philanthropy, civic responsibility, and friendship. We are grateful for the sisters who built this chapter, the members who continue to strengthen it, and the new sisters helping us grow into the future.

As we honor our past, we are excited for all that lies ahead. Arion is growing strong, continuing the legacy, and looking forward to many more years of service, connection, and sisterhood.

t a wonderful evening for Arion Chapter 298!

We closed out the year by welcoming five new members into the Daughters of Penelope: Sophia Tripoulas, Kathy Georganas, Olympia Koskinos, Fran Solovieff Vlantis, and Ionna Rodousakis.

We also celebrated the swearing-in of our new officers:

A special thank you to Angela Zambetis for 10 years of dedicated service on the Board.

Our Chairman of the Board, Katina Balland, shared a beautiful message about the growth of our chapter and the importance of each sister engaging in ways that fit her time and talents.

The turnout was fantastic, and we are grateful to Ela Mesa Taste of Greece for hosting us so graciously.

Here’s to sisterhood, service, and a wonderful year ahead!

A sweet and successful first bake sale and membership drive for the Daughters of Penelope Arion Chapter 298 at St. George in Bethesda!

Thank you to everyone who baked, packaged, set up, volunteered, stopped by, purchased treats, and learned more about our chapter. We are especially grateful to St. George for your warm hospitality and support.

We loved sharing our Greek baked goods and sisterhood with the community — and we look forward to more gatherings ahead!
