Community Impact Project presentation #2 of 6! The Graceful Heroes (Team Lead Tanika Ballista, April Willis, Mable Buchanan, Nicole Anderson, and Jonathan Rojas) did a fantastic job presenting to Care for Your Health Executive Director Anna Maria Izquierdo Porrera in-person and members of the team virtually. Care for Your Health provides much-needed community clinics and aging in place services to the community. The team provided an outreach strategy and narrative, made recommendations for diversifying funding sources, and designed a stewardship plan to bolster C4YH's financial sustainability. The team shared that they chose this project because of their personal connection to the mission. Well done team!

For all of you who knew him, Bishop Dorsenville passed away suddenly. He was instrumental in all the work we did during COVID, opening doors, and caring for the community. He shall be missed.

Bishop Duca sends his condolences and prayers to the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux, one of Baton Rouge's neighboring dioceses, after the untimely death of their Bishop, Mario Dorsonville.
