𝐖𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞!
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), through the Transforming Higher Education Systems (THES) Project, is supporting 10 marginalized students at our university through full fees and upkeep.
The 10 students are part of the 47 students from four universities that the project is supporting in its pilot phase.
Beyond enhancing enrollment of marginalized students into universities, we are hopeful that the scholarships will carve brighter futures for the students.
Thanks USAID for supporting THES and us through the 10 students drawn from Chintheche and Kavuzi in Nkhatabay, Bolero in Rumphi, and Ekwendeni and Manyamula in Mzimba.

President Lazarus Chakwera challenges UNILIA Graduates to Create Jobs

Chakwera was speaking Tuesday at Rafiki Institute in Mzuzu when he attended the 14th University of Livingstonia graduation where 521 students graduated with certificates, Diplomas, Bachelors Degrees and Masters Degrees.

“The creation of a new Malawi calls on all college graduates to use their acquired knowledge and skills for the expansion of our nation’s developmental and human capital.” - Chakwera said.
