Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association USA This is the official page of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth USA (also known as Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya USA). AMYA is headquartered in Silver Springs MD.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) is a nationwide youth group that works with young Muslim men and boys around the country. The association is also known internationally by the name Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya, which literally means "Association of Servants of the True Islam." The international organization was founded in 1938 and serves as the young men and boys auxiliary of the Ahmadi

yya Muslim Community. Officially established in the United States in 1939, AMYA is one of the earliest Muslim Youth organizations in the United States. AMYA is a dynamic and vibrant association serving not only the needs of its members but of its local communities and nation. The association is comprised of more than 3,000 men and boys from Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA aged 7 to 40, spread across 70 local chapters. Previous members of AMYA include Grammy Award winning artists and Pulitzer Prize winning journalists. Operating under the auspices of the international Khalifa (spiritual head) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, AMYA is governed by a national executive council and led by a national President. The current President is Dr. Bilal Rana, an anesthesiologist from Houston Texas. The executive councils comprises of young men and youth from across the United States. The outreach activities of AMYA are not limited to the Muslim community. It serves the needs of all members of society irrespective of color, race, religion or creed and promotes interfaith dialogue and co-operation in order to promote peace and harmony.

Islam does not promote violence. But many people’s first exposure to Islam or Muslim phrases comes through the news, which can shape harmful assumptions. This conversation is about separating the actions of extremists from the faith of nearly two billion people, and learning what Islam truly teaches about peace, justice, and the value of every human life.

Many people first hear ‘Allah Akbar’ through the news. But for Muslims, it is a phrase heard throughout daily prayer and ordinary life. It means ‘God is the Greatest’, a reminder of humility, gratitude, and faith.

And the Arabic word ‘Allah’ for God, is used to represent God for Muslims, Christians, and Jews alike. Muslims believe in the one God of Abraham, while recognizing that different faiths understand God in different ways.

Over the last weekend, the Southwest Region held its Ijtema (Gathering) at Camp Nawakwa, bringing together 171 members for a packed, unforgettable retreat.

MuslimYouth USA has been hitting the streets across multiple cities for our Meet a Muslim flyer distribution.

In Boston, we were able to distribute around 400 flyers at the FIFA quarter-final match, sharing Islam with fans from all over the world. In Dallas–Fort Worth, youth at the airport handed out 70 flyers, held 10 meaningful conversations, and shared 6 business cards for follow up. In New York City, another team took to Manhattan to keep the momentum going with more flyers and interactions.

Over 500+ Muslim Youth volunteered their time and service for one of the largest Muslim conferences in the U.S. over the 4th of July weekend. They facilitated parking, security, cooking, serving, and countless other roles, all for the sake of the guests attending this spiritual event.

This is what service looks like: humble, focused, and built on the foundation that true Khuddam service at Jalsa is preparation for service to humanity in every corner of life.

The flags are up, and Jalsa has commenced.

Muslim Youth are stationed to protect the flag and help uphold the spirit of the day as the gathering begins.

The Liwa-e-Ahmadiyyat, the Flag of Ahmadiyyat, was first hoisted by Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad (ra) in 1939. Its black background and white symbols represent the identity and heritage of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, making the flag a powerful sign of unity and belonging.

From this moment onward, the gathering is officially underway.
