I want to take a moment to acknowledge the uncertainty that surrounds us, whether it’s the looming possibility of a government shutdown, the tense political climate, or the heartbreaking rise in violent mass shootings across our country.

To carry the weight of all this on top of personal grief can feel like more than any heart should have to bear.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, here are three gentle things you can do to ease the burden:

Pull back from social media — give yourself permission to step away from the constant stream of news and noise.

Create a calming ritual — light a candle, brew tea, or take a bath to signal to your body that it is safe to rest.

Reach out, even in small ways — send a text, write in your journal, or whisper a prayer. Connection, even in its simplest form, helps soften the weight.

Please know our hearts are with you. You are not alone, and we are walking through this together. 💛
