Through philanthropic support from Umpqua Bank, Mt. Hood Community College will launch an Achieving the Dream Gateway to College program on its campus in Gresham, OR. MHCC joins Portland Community College as the only other college in Oregon offering this innovative program.

The ATD Gateway to College program at Mount Hood Community College will initially partner with the Gresham-Barlow, Centennial, and Reynolds school districts. We're thrilled to bring a second Gateway to College program to Oregon.

We’re pleased to announce that as of this morning, April 1, Gateway to College has officially merged with Achieving the Dream. Gateway to College will be a program of Achieving the Dream, a national nonprofit based in the D.C. area that leads a growing network of more than 200 community colleges, including more than half of the community colleges in our home state of Oregon.

On April 1, Gateway to College National Network became part of Achieving the Dream, a move which will help more underrepresented students succeed in college.
