Drum Roll Please - Grand Marshal Announcement
The Sierra Madre Events Committee and City of Sierra Madre is proud to announce Colleen McKernan and Kevin Drolet as the 2026 Grand Marshals of the Sierra Madre 4th of July Parade.
For decades, Colleen and Kevin have exemplified the very best of Sierra Madre’s community spirit through their tireless volunteerism, leadership, and unwavering dedication. Together, they have supported countless local organizations and events, always stepping forward with generosity and enthusiasm.
Colleen’s extensive service includes leadership roles in Sierra Madre Little League, where she served as President, as well as the Sierra Madre Civic Club, where she held two terms as President. Her involvement spans St. Rita Parish, the Sierra Madre Community Foundation, Relay for Life, and numerous other community initiatives. She is also the founder of The Spero Foundation and co-owner of a local business, further deepening her commitment to serving others.
Kevin has been equally devoted, contributing his time as a Kiwanis Club member, a Bailey Canyon docent, and a steady volunteer at community events throughout the years.
Together, Colleen and Kevin represent the heart and soul of Sierra Madre—neighbors who show up, give back, and help make this town such a special place to live. Their impact is felt across generations, and their dedication has strengthened the traditions we celebrate today.
We are honored to recognize them as our 2026 Grand Marshals.
⭐ Hometown Hero – Rob Stockly
Further, the Sierra Madre Events Committee is honored to recognize Rob Stockly as the 2026 Hometown Hero. A lifelong champion of Sierra Madre, Rob’s contributions to the community span more than three decades. His leadership, vision, and dedication have played a vital role in shaping and supporting many of the institutions that make Sierra Madre thrive. As Chair of the Sierra Madre Library Foundation, Rob has been instrumental in revitalizing the organization and leading critical fundraising efforts, including those supporting the long-awaited new library. His commitment to the library reflects a deep belief in community, education, and shared spaces.
Rob’s service extends far beyond the library, however. He has served as Mayor, Community Service Commissioner, Mt. Wilson Trail Race Chair and Committee member, a Library Trustee, and an active member of numerous local organizations, including Rotary and the Sierra Madre Community Foundation. Whether through civic leadership, volunteer service, or community engagement, Rob consistently “walks the walk” in his dedication to Sierra Madre. His passion, perseverance, and generosity of time and spirit embody what it means to be a true Hometown Hero.
We proudly celebrate Rob Stockly for his lasting impact and continued commitment to the Sierra Madre community.
