The Camp is open and Contra Dance is happening. After many years of closure from the Bobcat fire The forrest service has opened the canyon and the camp. Volunteers have repaired and polished the place.

We are planning an informal get together of any past (and future) Camp Sturtevant campers on Memorial day -THIS COMING MONDAY, May 25th at 2:00PM. Since we can’t be there in person this year, it will be a time to celebrate the spirit of the camp -online.
Come and hang out, Listen to a tune or two from Amy Eaglesburg, Audrey Knuth, and Ben Schreiber - and maybe other musicians that want to join in. Bennett Konesni will lead some singing Claire Takemori will call a dance, Jocelyn will share a recipe to her famous molasses cookies, Brenda will be sharing her Ice Cream recipe, I’m putting together a slide show, and Lindsay with her technical wizardry will be seeing to our Zoom enjoyment. You can wear your camp bandanna, Share your favorite picture for camp, and maybe even tell a quick story from camp. There will be time to just say Hi to other campers. There will be an observance of Memorial Day and we will even hear Jerry play Taps on his traditional Brass Trombone!
