COMPLETED DREAM: A DREAM THAT KEEPS MAKING A DIFFERENCE

A few years ago, two speech therapists at Sidney Regional Medical Center turned an idea into a lasting community impact by applying for a SAGA Fund grant to place a communication board in one of our local parks! 🛝

Today, that communication board is in place and getting lots of use, creating opportunities for children and families to connect through play, engagement, and communication.

Communication boards give children who have difficulty communicating verbally another way to express themselves, share their thoughts, and interact with others. This project is a wonderful example of how a thoughtful idea can help make our community more inclusive and welcoming for everyone. 💚

We love seeing SAGA Fund dreams come to life and continue making a difference in our community years later!

$2.75 MILLION. A BIGGER FUTURE FOR OUR COMMUNITIES. 💚

What could an additional $1 million mean for the SAGA Fund endowment?

It could help us build a $2.75 million permanent endowment designed to support our communities for generations to come.

💚 Nearly $100,000 a year in potential grant funding at an illustrative 3.5% annual payout.

💚 More than $480,000 over 5 years in potential cumulative grant funding.

💚 Nearly $1 million over 10 years in potential cumulative grant funding.

🎳 A DREAM ALREADY COMPLETED

A year ago, the Potter Historical Foundation turned a community dream into reality by updating and completing repairs to Potter’s historic duckpin bowling alley.

It’s a great reminder that when we invest in the places and projects that matter to our communities, the impact can last for years. 💚

🌱 A Legacy That Keeps Sidney Going

For Deanna and Wendall Gaston, giving through a planned gift is about more than today—it’s about helping ensure the things they love about Sidney continue for generations to come.
